Merced County Public Works Department is seeking contractors for up to three Job Order Contracts (JOCs) to provide a broad range of building and infrastructure services across county properties. - Government Buyer: - Merced County Public Works Department - Office of the Public Works Director - OEMs and Vendors: - The Gordian Group (provides the proprietary Job Order Contracting Solution, including JOC IMS and Construction Task Catalog) - Products/Services Requested: - Job Order Contracting Services for repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, and demolition of buildings, offices, facilities, structures, infrastructure, or other real property - Utilization of Gordian's JOC Information Management System and Construction Task Catalog - Up to three contracts, each with a maximum value of $6,402,606 and a 12-month base term - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractors must hold a valid California Class B Contractor's license - Compliance with California prevailing wage laws and Department of Industrial Relations registration - Execution of Gordian’s General Terms of Use and payment of a 1% JOC System License Fee on all job orders - Submission of $25,000 bid security and $250,000 payment and performance bonds - Bids must include adjustment factors for different working hours and facility types - Three optional one-year contract extensions possible

Description

The County of Merced is soliciting sealed proposals for up to three separate Job Order Contracts (JOCs) requiring a Class B Contractors license. The contracts involve repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, and demolition work on buildings, offices, facilities, structures, infrastructure, or other real property. Each contract will have a maximum value of $6,402,606 and a term of 12 months. The project is subject to California prevailing wage laws and requires registration with the Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders must provide bid security and bonds, and a 1% JOC System License Fee applies due to the use of Gordian’s JOC Solution™ for project management.
