This opportunity is for the procurement of a heavy-duty thread rolling machine for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Norfolk Contracting Division. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Maritime Norfolk Contracting Division, Norfolk Naval Shipyard - OEMs and Vendors: - Tesker (Original Equipment Manufacturer) - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) Thread Rolling Machine, Tesker Model 320E or equivalent - Must have 3-inch diameter capacity, 1,000,000 lbs rolling pressure, servo drive system, welded steel construction, HMI control, and advanced safety features - Includes accessories and compliance with detailed technical specifications - Equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning - Training for three operators (three consecutive 8-hour days), including preparation of training programs and manuals - Unique/Notable Requirements: - 100% small business set-aside - Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation - Installation drawings required within 60 days of contract effective date and at least two weeks before delivery - 24-month warranty post-installation - Delivery required by specified date; installation and training to occur during normal working hours (excluding federal holidays)
