Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has submitted an information collection request for the 8th Drinking Water Infrastructure Needs Survey and Assessment. This survey aims to estimate the capital improvement needs of drinking water systems eligible for Drinking Water State Revolving Fund funds across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. The survey will collect 20-year capital improvement needs data from community water systems and supplemental information on barriers to funding and capabilities of Tribal utilities. Public comments on this new collection are invited until July 27, 2026.
