Description

The project is located in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia on Pelham Street and small portions of Burma Road and Shipyard Hill Road. The work includes the construction of a new concrete sidewalk complete with new curb and gutter, installation of tactile walking surface indicators, a rectangular rapid flashing beacon signal system, and adjustments to valve, walkway, curb stop, and catch basin heights. Additional work includes topsoil and sod, reinstatement of driveways, reconstruction of a portion of asphalt roadway with new bedding gravels, a crosswalk, construction of asphalt swales, and all work shown on the drawings and specified. All work must comply with the Standard Specifications for Municipal Services and Nova Scotia Environment and Climate Change’s permit and requirements.
