Description

Imperial Irrigation District (IID) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide substation construction services for equipment replacement programs. The scope includes replacement of power transformers, circuit breakers, disconnect switches, busbars, capacitor banks, voltage regulators, surge arresters, underground conduits and manholes, handhole boxes, conductors, insulators, and control, power, and communication cables. The contract term is approximately 36 months, and contractors must possess a current, valid "A" California Contractor's License and a "C-4" California Specialty Classification License. A mandatory phone conference meeting is scheduled, and proposals are due by August 12, 2026.
