Sealed bids are being solicited by the Township of Hanover, Morris County, New Jersey, for the loading, removal, and recycling of uncomposted leaves collected during the 2026 Leaf Collection Season. The contract period is from October 1, 2026, to January 1, 2027, or until all leaves stored at the Hanover Township Recycling Center are removed and recycled. Approximately 14,000 cubic yards of leaves are expected to be collected. The contractor must recycle leaves at a composting facility approved by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection or the equivalent agency in the facility's state. Leaves must be removed within three calendar days of arrival at the recycling center, with a maximum detention time of seven days.
