The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the CUNY College of Staten Island Campus Sidewalk Reconstruction Phase 2 and Associated Hazmat Abatement project. - Government Buyer: Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), Construction Division - Scope of Work: - Approximately 21,210 sq. ft. of phased demolition, renovation, and regrading of campus sidewalks - Site improvements including new paving, landscaping, site furnishings, and lighting for Alumni Walk, plazas, and pathways - Construction of a new fountain at Alumni Walk, including structural work for a pool vault - Improvements to Wooded Park and stormwater conveyance upgrades - Limited hazardous material abatement and environmental management for excavated soil - Electrical/IT installations (new light poles, signage infrastructure), plumbing, and related work - Estimated Contract Value: $20,000,000 to $21,000,000 - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Project Labor Agreement (PLA) - EEO goal of 45%, MBE goal of 18%, WBE goal of 12%, SDVOB goal of 6% - Submission of detailed qualification packages (company profile, experience, schedules, safety program, résumés, subcontractors, workload, insurance, bonding, NYS Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire) - Only qualified contractors will be invited to bid - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation.

Description

This solicitation is for Expressions of Interest (EOI) only for the phased demolition, renovation, regrading, site improvements including new paving, landscaping, site furnishings, lighting, and a new fountain at the Alumni Walk, plazas, and pathways connecting several buildings at the College of Staten Island. The scope also includes site improvements for Wooded Park, stormwater conveyance improvements, limited hazmat abatement, environmental scope for excavated soil disposal, electrical/IT work, plumbing, and structural work for a new fountain pool vault. The project requires compliance with a Project Labor Agreement and has specific goals for EEO and M/WBE participation. Qualified contractors will be invited to bid after review of qualification packages.
