The University of New Orleans (soon to be LSU New Orleans) is seeking a contractor for a comprehensive, yearly pest control service contract covering its Main and East Campuses and satellite buildings. - Government Buyer: - University of New Orleans (renaming to LSU New Orleans) - Purchasing Office, managed by Troy Bacino, Assistant Director for Purchasing - Products/Services Requested: - Routine monthly pest control treatments for building interiors, perimeters, and sidewalks - Coverage for pests including spiders, roaches, ants, moths, silverfish, fleas, gnats, wasps, bees (excluding honey bees), psychodidae, rats, and mice - Separate, as-needed services for bed bug and termite treatments, with distinct pricing - Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, chemicals, and materials - Service includes inspections, rodent treatments, and response to work requests three days per week - Quantities & Scope: - Service covers all campus buildings and satellite locations (detailed square footages provided in bid documents) - Bed bug and termite treatments are priced per occurrence, not included in monthly routine - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must submit detailed reports and invoices - Compliance with all applicable regulations and university policies is required - Price escalation for renewals is capped at the Consumer Price Index increase for the prior 12 months - Termite and bed bug treatments are excluded from the standard monthly service and require separate pricing - No specific OEMs, proprietary products, or chemicals are mandated in the solicitation

Description

This solicitation is for a yearly service contract for pest control services at the University of New Orleans, which will become LSU New Orleans on July 1, 2026. The contract is upon award for one year and renewable up to 4 or 5 years. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Administration Building, Suite 112. The bid opening date is July 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the LSU New Orleans Purchasing Office, Administration Annex, Room 1004G, New Orleans, LA.
