FAA Radar Data Pilot Program (RDPP) – Market Survey for Secure Radar Data Access

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking information from qualified vendors for its Radar Data Pilot Program (RDPP), supporting advanced air traffic and unmanned aircraft system management: - Government Buyer: - Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), 697DCK Regional Acquisitions Services - Program Overview: - RDPP aims to provide up to three U.S. State, Local, Tribal, or Territorial (SLTT) government entities with access to FAA National Airspace System (NAS) radar data feeds - Data feeds will include Sensitive Unclassified Information (SUI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) - Supports Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management (UTM) services or technology testing - Participation Requirements: - Participants must be U.S. SLTT government entities - Must comply with strict cybersecurity standards, legal agreements (OTA and ISA), and personnel vetting - Ongoing compliance monitoring and periodic reporting required - Products/Services Requested: - No specific OEMs, vendors, or commercial products are named - Service: Access to FAA NAS radar data feeds for up to three entities - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Legally binding agreements and compliance with federal information security standards - Pilot program sunsets at the end of the specified period - No hardware or software procurement is specified; focus is on data access and compliance

Description

This announcement constitutes a Request for Information (RFI Number 697DCK-26-RFI-RDPP).  This is NOT a Request for Proposal.  

The FAA is seeking capable respondents who demonstrate in their responses capabilities to support the objectives of this RFI.  Responses provided will be reviewed in accordance with the RFI.  Companies interested in responding to this request for information should send their response as well as comments or questions to Mrs. Kristin Frantz at Kristin.T.Frantz@faa.gov and Mr. James Nguyen at James.T.Nguyen@faa.gov.  All responses must be received no later than 3:00 PM ET on July 27, 2026. All questions and comments must be in writing, no telephone calls.  

The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government.  Please mark PROPRIETARY on all documents submitted as necessary. 

Note:  FAR references cited in SAM.gov are not applicable to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS).
