Sound Transit is seeking a contractor to provide and install a specialized acoustic noise barrier wall for the East Link light rail project (segment E360) in the Seattle-Bellevue-Redmond corridor. - Government Buyer: Sound Transit (Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority) - Project Scope: - Installation of an approximately 850-foot long, 4-foot tall acoustic noise barrier wall - Wall to be installed along the elevated light rail guideway near Bellevue Children's Academy (BCA) - Purpose is to mitigate moderate noise impacts from light rail operations on nearby sensitive school and play areas - Product Requirements: - Acoustic noise barrier wall system constructed of corrosion-resistant metal panels with acoustic fill - Wall must be at least 2.72 feet above the top of rail - Panels must meet ASTM E90 and ASTM E413 standards - Minimum Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 1.00 and Sound Transmission Class (STC) of 30 - Wall to be installed on an elevated guideway structure - No vibration mitigation is required - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the opportunity is open to qualified manufacturers and installers of acoustic barrier systems - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with strict acoustic performance standards - Installation in a sensitive school environment - Corrosion resistance and durability of materials

Sound Transit is soliciting proposals for the Overlake Village Station TOD Property located in Redmond, Washington. The project involves the sale and development of two parcels of land combined as one property site for an affordable housing project pursuant to State Statute RCW 81.112.350. The site includes Parcel A (approximately 2.4 acres) and Parcel B (approximately 16,300 square feet). Prospective firms are encouraged to attend a pre-proposal meeting and submit proposals by January 31, 2023.
