Sound Transit, the regional transit agency for the Seattle metropolitan area, is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive Station Agent Services for Sounder Commuter Rail and select Link Light Rail stations over a five-year contract. - Government Buyer: - Sound Transit (serving King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties, WA) - Scope of Services: - Station Agent coverage at multiple stations (Auburn, Kent, King Street, Puyallup, Sumner, Tacoma Dome, Tukwila, Lakewood, South Tacoma, Sea-Tac, Mukilteo, Edmonds, Everett, and others) - Supervisors (AM and PM shifts) and a Station Program Manager - Overtime hours for both Station Agents and Supervisors - Special event staffing for approximately 40 events per year at various stations - Platform, stairs, and ADA ramp deicing at stations - Agent training and counseling outside normal staffed hours - Quantities & Line Items: - Most roles require 60 months of coverage (one per month for five years) per station/role - Overtime and special event staffing estimated at 160-200 hours per role/station - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Coverage based on train schedules, with agents present 15 minutes before first train and 15 minutes after last train - Supervisors must provide their own vehicles (not supplied by Sound Transit) - Compliance with equal employment opportunity laws and Sound Transit diversity programs - Adherence to Sound Transit uniform and branding standards - Potential for service expansion with 60 days' notice - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the opportunity is open to qualified service providers - Evaluation criteria include staffing schedules, employee training, retention programs, and program management
