This opportunity involves the U.S. Air Force at Dyess Air Force Base seeking construction services for the replacement of the standing seam metal roofs on Buildings 6030A and 6030C. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 7th Civil Engineer Squadron, Dyess Air Force Base, Texas - Scope of Work: - Remove existing standing seam metal roofs on Buildings 6030A and 6030C - Install new prefinished standing seam metal roof system (approx. 26,060 sq. ft.) - Roofing system must be from a single manufacturer and meet UL 90 wind uplift standards - Provide a 20-year leak-proof warranty on the new roof - Replace all gutters, downspouts, gutter straps, brackets, fascia, and roof penetration flashings with new prefinished sheet metal matching roof color - Install roof underlayment (minimum 40-mil, high-temperature, slip-resistant) - Repaint existing roof penetrations and equipment to specified color - Install a horizontal lifeline fall protection system with non-penetrating anchors - Perform asbestos abatement and disposal in compliance with all federal and state regulations - Ensure environmental compliance and proper waste management - Products/Services Requested: - Standing seam metal roof system panels (factory roll-formed, 18" wide, 24 gauge, aluminum-zinc alloy, PVDF finish) - Roof underlayment (240-degree, self-adhering, polymer-modified bituminous sheet) - Prefinished metal fascia, gutters, downspouts, brackets, and roof penetration flashings - Horizontal lifeline fall protection system - Asbestos abatement and disposal services - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Roofing materials must be sourced from a single manufacturer - Roof system must meet UL 580 Class 90 wind uplift requirements - 20-year leak-proof warranty required - Fall protection system must not penetrate standing seam panels - Strict compliance with environmental and asbestos regulations - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Vendors are encouraged to submit capability statements highlighting qualifications and socioeconomic status

Please Note: This pre-solication notice is different than the B6030 A_C Roof Sealant (FA466126R0006). This requirement requires an all new, prefinished, standing seam metal roof to replace the current metal roof. See Statement of Work for more information.

This is a pre-solicitation notice for the upcoming Dyess AFB building 6030 A_C Roof Replacement requirement. The roof totals an approximate square footage of 26,060 Square Feet. The solicitation should be posted on or about 15 July 2026. This is not a solicitation. Proposals will not be accepted at this time. Please see attached Statement Of Work for additional information. Vendors are encouraged to ready the attached documents in their entirety and submit a capabilities statement showings the unique abilities for their companies, and any socioeconomic categories. 

Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
