This opportunity seeks a contractor to provide ice delivery services for the U.S. Army's Jungle Operations Training Course (JOTC) at Base Aeronaval Cristóbal Colón, Panama. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, HQ Contracting Office, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Sam Houston - Supported location: Base Aeronaval Cristóbal Colón (formerly Fort Sherman), Panama - Products/Services Requested: - Production, packaging, and delivery of potable water ice in sealed, food-grade 10-pound bags - Up to 5,200 pounds (520 bags) per month, delivered monthly as directed by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) - Total of 12 monthly deliveries per base and option years, with a final 6-month option period - All labor, equipment, transportation, and materials required for production, handling, and delivery - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Ice must be produced by a licensed Panamanian company meeting national regulatory standards for commercial ice manufacturing - Strict sanitary, safety, and quality control requirements - Ice must be transported in insulated or refrigerated vehicles maintaining temperatures at or below 32°F (0°C) - Delivery schedule excludes August 2026, December 2026, and March 2027 in the base period - Contractor must coordinate with the COR for delivery schedules and access - No specific OEMs or part numbers are identified; the requirement is for a commercial commodity and associated delivery service

Description

The Government requires non-personal services for the production, furnishing, and delivery of commercially manufactured ice to Base Aeronaval Cristóbal Colón, Panama in support of the Jungle Operations Training Course (JOTC).

The Contractor shall perform all tasks necessary to produce, package, and deliver ice in strict accordance with the requirements set forth in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the detailed specifications contained in Technical Exhibit 1 (JOTC Tentative Ice Delivery Schedule) ensuring full compliance with all performance standards, quantities, delivery conditions, and quality assurance measures prescribed therein.
