Description

Sound Transit is soliciting proposals for a Job Order Contracting (JOC) construction services contract to perform general facilities maintenance and operations projects. The scope includes construction, alteration, repair, or improvement of various Sound Transit properties such as Link Light Rail, Sounder, and Express Bus facilities. Work may involve demolition, grading, utilities installation, building renovations, mechanical, electrical, structural work, road construction, concrete work, signage, landscaping, and more. The contract is intended for primarily small and discrete jobs with work orders issued for defined tasks, and individual work orders will not exceed the amount allowed by RCW 39.10.450. The initial contract term is two years with a one-year option, a guaranteed minimum value of $50,000, and a maximum contract value not exceeding the amount allowable by RCW 39.10.440.
