Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Engineering and Inspection Consultant Services for the Series 3 Light Rail Vehicle Procurement. The contract duration for the base order of 106 Light Rail Vehicles is estimated to be approximately 10 years and may extend up to 20 years. The consultant will support the preparation of RFPs for soliciting car builders, assist in selecting car builders, and provide engineering, project management, and inspection support during the design, manufacturing, and commissioning phases of the project.
