New Melones Law Enforcement Services – Tuolumne CountyThe Bureau of Reclamation is conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing seasonal law enforcement services and public safety training at New Melones Lake, California.This is a Sources Sought Notice only and is not a solicitation. RequirementThe Government is seeking sources to provide:• One (1) certified Peace Officer (CA Penal Code §830.1 or equivalent). • Law enforcement patrol services at New Melones Lake from approximately May 1 through October 1 each year.• Patrol coverage during peak recreation weekends, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.• Up to approximately 120 base patrol hours annually, with up to 180 additional COR-directed optional hours.• One patrol vehicle per assigned officer.Additional services include:• Two (2) eight-hour public safety training sessions per year conducted by qualified law enforcement instructors.Capability RequirementsInterested sources must demonstrate the ability to:• Provide sworn law enforcement personnel authorized to enforce applicable federal, state, and local laws • Operate in a recreation environment on federal lands under proprietary jurisdiction • Provide seasonal staffing during peak recreation periods • Deliver public safety or law enforcement training Submission RequirementsInterested firms shall submit a brief capability statement (5 pages or less) including:• Company information and UEI • Relevant experience providing law enforcement services in recreation or public lands environments • Ability to provide qualified peace officers and training instructors • Any similar contracts performed within the last 5 years Response DueResponses are due by: July 9, 2026, 10AM PST.
