Humble Independent School District (Humble ISD) is seeking qualified electrical contractors to provide maintenance, repair, installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency services for Child Nutrition Services equipment across district campuses. - Government Buyer: - Humble ISD, Purchasing Department, Board, Building & Technology Center - Scope of Services: - Electrical repairs for food service equipment (diagnosis, wiring, breakers, disconnects, relays, transformers, etc.) - Preventative maintenance of electrical systems supporting kitchen operations - Installation and replacement of electrical infrastructure for equipment such as ice machines, ovens, coolers, dish machines, washers, and dryers - Troubleshooting of commercial kitchen equipment electrical components - Emergency electrical repair services outside normal business hours, prioritizing food safety and meal service - Products/Equipment (Sample Jobs): - Installation of Rational Double Stack 12 Pan iCombi Pro Oven (Part Number: ICP 6-Full on 6-Full NG 208/240V 1 PH (CC1GRRA 0000238)) - Semi-annual maintenance of Scotsman Ice Machines (50lb ice bins at multiple schools) - Removal and replacement of pass-through freezer at Elm Grove ES - Emergency troubleshooting of ice machines - OEMs and Vendors: - Rational (iCombi Pro Oven) - Scotsman (Ice Machines) - Other OEMs may be involved as per district equipment list - Notable Requirements: - Pricing for both OEM and non-OEM parts must be at current MSRP - Labor rates required for Master, Journeyman, and Apprentice Electricians (straight time, overtime, emergency, holiday) - Vendors must provide references from school districts or higher education, asbestos acknowledgement, W9, and Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295 - Strict adherence to online bidding system deadlines - The contract includes an initial one-year term with up to four one-year renewal options.
