Description

The City of Kingston is seeking proposals from qualified Architectural or Engineering Service Providers to deliver consulting services for the 2024 Heritage Restoration of Kingston’s City Hall located at 216 Ontario Street, Kingston, Ontario. The scope includes pre-design assessment, detailed design, procurement and permitting services, construction review, and contract administration. The project aims to restore the main entrance stairs, portico, primary dome, lantern, masonry, wood windows and doors, roofing, and other heritage features. Construction is expected to start in spring 2024 with completion by December 2024. The selected proponent must finalize design documents before issuing a construction RFP, with a minimum of 60 days for the bidding process.
