Description
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) requests comments on a proposed extension of approval of information collection requirements associated with the Standard for the Flammability of Clothing Textiles and the Standard for the Flammability of Vinyl Plastic Film. This collection of information was previously approved under control number 3041-0024, with the most recent extension expiring on October 31, 2026. The standards address the flammability testing, classification, and recordkeeping requirements for clothing textiles and vinyl plastic film used in apparel. The Commission will consider all comments received before requesting an extension from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
