Description
The Department of Commerce, through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), is requesting public comment on a proposed revision to an existing information collection related to the certification of admissibility for fish and fish products subject to trade restrictions under the High Seas Driftnet Fishing Moratorium Protection Act and the Marine Mammal Protection Act. The collection involves a Certification of Admissibility (COA) fish harvest record form that must accompany shipments of certain fish and fish products to attest to their method and location of harvest. The revision proposes to automate the submission process by requiring electronic submission of data elements through the Customs and Border Protection Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) portal, improving enforcement and efficiency. Comments on this information collection must be received by August 24, 2026.
