Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a component of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), issued an order under Sections 362 and 365 of the Public Health Service Act to continue the suspension of the right to introduce certain persons from countries with outbreaks of quarantinable communicable diseases. The order was issued on June 21, 2026, and remains in effect through July 21, 2026. The order aims to prevent the introduction and spread of communicable diseases into the United States by restricting entry of persons who have been in specified countries during the last 21 days.
