Description
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for all navigable waters on Lake Erie within 375 yards of a fireworks barge near Put-in-Bay, OH. This safety zone is intended to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards during a fireworks event. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Detroit. The safety zone will be enforced from 8:30 p.m. until 11:15 p.m. on August 2, 2026.
