Carteret County Government is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, emergency repair, and life extension services for county-owned HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers, cooling tower, pumps, and associated equipment located at the Courthouse and Jail Complex in Beaufort, NC. The scope includes quarterly minor inspections and maintenance, annual cleaning services, detailed reporting after each visit, and 24-hour emergency service availability with specified response times. Contractors must furnish all labor, tools, materials, and consumables necessary to perform the services and provide detailed proposals including company qualifications, maintenance approach, staffing, pricing, and emergency procedures. The contract may be amended to include future equipment acquisitions.
