Description
The Region's Water and Wastewater Branch is procuring supplies and equipment to perform adenosine triphosphate (ATP) analyses to measure biological concentration in drinking water samples. This includes analysis of raw surface water, treated surface water, groundwater, and distribution system samples as part of an enhanced water quality monitoring program. The ATP analysis monitors biological activity throughout drinking water treatment processes and distribution systems to assess process effectiveness and water quality changes. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Region's Bids and Tenders website by the specified deadline. The luminometric method must comply with ASTM D4012 and be suitable for municipal drinking water samples, adaptable to turbidity and biofilm, with a bench luminometer range of 0 to 500,000 RLU and standard 120V power.
