The Village of Pemberton is seeking qualified contractors to design, supply, and install a floating boardwalk system at One Mile Lake Park. - Government Buyer: - Village of Pemberton - Scope of Work: - Design, supply, and installation of a floating boardwalk system - Mandatory base scope: approximately 300 meters of floating boardwalk - Optional scope: approximately 280 meters, including a floating bridge crossing over a fish channel - Product/Material Requirements: - Marine-grade aluminum framing - Rotomolded HDPE flotation units - Cedar decking or equivalent materials - Contractor Responsibilities: - Detailed design and structural configuration - Anchoring and floating bridge design - Installation methodology - Accessibility and Durability: - System must be accessible for pedestrians, cyclists, strollers, wheelchairs, and other mobility devices - Must be adaptable to water level and seasonal changes - Emphasis on durability and resilience - Pricing: - Proposals must include pricing for both base and optional scopes - Village may award only the base or both scopes depending on funding - Additional Notes: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named - Existing damaged structures will be removed by the Village prior to work commencement

The project includes approximately 300 meters of mandatory floating boardwalk and an optional 280 meters including a floating bridge crossing. The system should use marine-grade aluminum framing, rotomolded HDPE flotation units, and cedar decking or equivalent, and be durable, resilient, and accessible for various users. Proponents must provide pricing for the base scope and may include the optional scope. Existing damaged structures will be removed by the Village prior to work.
