Description
Cowlitz County is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from non-profit organizations to pre-qualify partners capable of receiving animals released from the custody of the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office and assuming responsibility for their housing, care, and disposition. The scope includes efforts to return animals to their owners, foster placement, adoption, or other appropriate outcomes. The selected organizations must provide animal intake, housing, veterinary care, foster coordination, adoption services, and maintain records. Compensation will be through a one-time, per-animal fee upon transfer from County custody.
