Description

Lee County is administering a Community Development Block Grant – Neighborhood Revitalization (CDBG-NR) program funded by the NC Department of Commerce, Rural Economic Development Division. The program requires certified firms to perform lead-based paint inspections, risk assessments, clearance inspections, and other lead sampling/testing during rehabilitation of up to three residential structures within Lee County. The County expects to issue a Notice to Proceed within approximately 30 days of award and contract execution. All inspection and assessment work must comply with federal and state standards including 24 CFR Part 35 and North Carolina Lead-Based Paint Hazard Management Program rules.
