Humble Independent School District (Humble ISD) in Texas is seeking qualified electrical contractors for comprehensive electrical maintenance, repair, and installation services supporting Child Nutrition Services (CNS) equipment across all district kitchen facilities. - Scope of Work: - On-demand, project-based, and emergency electrical services for commercial kitchen equipment - Routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, installation of new or relocated equipment, and troubleshooting electrical failures - Products and Components: - Electrical distribution and power components (wiring, fuses, circuit breakers, relays, etc.) - Motors and motor control parts (fan motors, pumps, VFDs, etc.) - Refrigeration electrical components (controllers, sensors, compressor controls, etc.) - Heating components (heating elements, thermostats, etc.) - Electronic controls and automation (control boards, PLC modules, communication systems, etc.) - Safety and interlock components (door switches, safety relays, etc.) - Water systems electrical components (solenoid valves, float switches, etc.) - Lighting components (LED drivers, ballasts, etc.) - OEM and Non-OEM Parts: - Both OEM and non-OEM parts are acceptable; non-OEM parts must be priced at current MSRP at time of quotation - Compliance and Requirements: - Contractors must adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, including K-12 environment requirements, asbestos notification, and Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295 - Vendor Pool: - The district will establish a pool of approved vendors for ongoing CNS electrical service needs - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation
