The Department of Water Resources (DWR) is seeking a Federal Governmental Relations Consultant to assist with planning, designing, and executing federal flood and flood management related multi-purpose water resources and environmental projects. The consultant will also help secure federal funding for flood management activities and related projects, amend federal policies and laws related to flood management and flood insurance, improve sub-seasonal to seasonal precipitation forecasting, and strengthen cooperative efforts with federal agencies. The anticipated term of the agreement is three years.
