SUNY ESF is seeking bids for a comprehensive ADA renovation of the Moon Library's lower level entries and restrooms in Syracuse, NY. - Government Buyer: State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF) - Scope of Work: - Full renovation for ADA compliance, including: - Selective demolition, asbestos abatement, lead-safe work, PCB caulk removal - Concrete, masonry, structural steel framing, steel decking, pipe and tube railings - Thermal and moisture protection, hollow metal doors/frames, aluminum storefronts, door hardware, glazing - Non-structural metal framing, gypsum board, ceramic tile, acoustical panel ceilings - Resilient base/accessories, resilient tile flooring, tile carpet, wall coverings, solid stone veneer aluminum panel - Interior painting (MPI standards), visual display boards, signage, toilet compartments, phenolic lockers - Toilet, bath and laundry accessories, roller window shades, plastic laminate-clad casework, quartz countertops - Interior planters/artificial plants, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, earthwork, site concrete, textured concrete, site furnishings, planting, storm drainage - Notable Requirements: - Mandatory registration with NYS Department of Labor for all contractors/subcontractors - Submission of NYS DOL Contractor Certificate of Registration with bids - Strong emphasis on participation from certified MWBE (15% MBE, 15% WBE) and SDVOB (6%) firms - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; the project is open to a wide range of construction and building materials suppliers - Plans and specifications are available online or via Bellows Construction Specialties, LLC

This solicitation is for the renovation of lower level entries and restrooms to meet ADA requirements at the Moon Library, SUNY ESF, located at 1 Forestry Drive, Syracuse, NY. The scope of work includes selective demolition, asbestos abatement, lead safe work, concrete and masonry work, structural steel framing, glazing, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, site work, and various interior finishes and accessories. Bids are being solicited from certified M/WBE and SDVOB firms. Contractors must be registered with the NYS Department of Labor and submit their bids by July 22, 2026.
