Jefferson Parish Department of Fleet Management is seeking proposals for a pre-placed emergency contract to supply and deliver fuel and related equipment during declared disasters. - Government Buyer: Jefferson Parish Department of Fleet Management, Department of Purchasing - Products/Services Requested: - Ultra-low sulfur diesel and 87 octane unleaded reformulated gasoline delivery - Rental of fuel tankers, bobtail tankers, and storage tanks (2,000, 5,000, and 10,000 gallon sizes) - Provision of qualified drivers for fuel and bobtail tankers - Quantities: - 672 hours each for fuel tanker rental, bobtail tanker rental, fuel tanker driver, and bobtail tanker driver - 336 hours each for 2,000, 5,000, and 10,000 gallon storage tank rentals - Notable Requirements: - Proposers must have at least 5 years of experience in emergency fuel delivery - Equipment must be fully functional and compliant with environmental and safety standards - Fuel must be delivered to multiple parish fueling sites and emergency locations - Pricing is based on Platts Price Index plus a fixed differential and applicable state taxes - Contract is for use only during declared disaster events, with no guaranteed minimum quantities - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation
