The USDA Forest Service, Superior National Forest, is seeking commercial services for the treatment of non-native invasive plant infestations in Minnesota. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) - Sub-agency: Superior National Forest - Scope of Work: - Treatment of approximately 121 acres of invasive plants along 200 miles of roads and trails in St. Louis, Lake, and Cook Counties, Minnesota - Target species include spotted knapweed, common tansy, St. Johnswort, wild parsnip, Canada thistle, and bull thistle - Application of approved herbicides via foliar spray - GPS location recording and submission of application records required - OEMs and Products: - Approved herbicides specified: Milestone (manufactured by Corteva Agriscience) and Escort (manufactured by Bayer Crop Science) - No specific vendors or resellers named - Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, herbicides, dyes, surfactants, supervision, transportation, supplies, and incidentals (except any government-furnished property) - Firm fixed price contract, total small business set-aside - Application records must be submitted after field work - Period of Performance: - Work scheduled for a base period with four option years - Initial field work to be completed within a defined summer-fall window

Description

The USDA Forest Service seeks treatment of approximately 121 acres of non-native invasive plant infestations spread along approximately 200 miles of roads and trails on National Forest System land at locations in St. Louis, Lake, and Cook Counties, Minnesota. Treatments will occur between July 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 for the base period with four option years.   

The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, herbicides, dyes, surfactants, supervision, transportation, supplies, and incidentals except those designated in the statement of work as government-furnished property.
