This opportunity involves a sole source contract for upgrading and modernizing the Crestron audiovisual (AV) system in the Wing Operations Center (WOC) at Malmstrom Air Force Base. - The U.S. Air Force (341st Missile Wing) intends to award to Rhodes Research, the original developer and sole proprietor of the proprietary software source code for the WOC's Crestron AV system. - The upgrade addresses critical software issues causing projector failures and aims to restore full operational capability, avoiding the need for costly system replacement. - Hardware upgrades include: - Replacement of two ceiling-mounted projectors with 4K, 16,500-lumen models compatible with existing mounts and lenses (no wireless capability) - Replacement of 20 Crestron DM-NVX-E30 encoders with DM-NVX-384 units - Upgrade of 8 decoders to DM-NVX-384 for multi-window display support - Installation of a new POE++ network switch (Crestron CEN-SW-POE-48-ULTRA) - Replacement of 3 Crestron TSW1060 touch panels with larger TS-1080 models - The system must be modular, operate 24/7, and exclude wireless features. - Services required include removal of old equipment, installation, integration, cabling, system checks, and personnel training. - A minimum 5-year warranty is required, with an option for extended maintenance and software updates. - The contract period is 120 days from award for installation and operational readiness. - The opportunity is set aside for SBA concerns and is not open for full and open competition. - Responses are due by July 9, 2026.
