This opportunity seeks a contractor to provide and serve noon meals for Armed Forces applicants at the Sacramento Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Knox, Directorate of Contracting - United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM), Sacramento MEPS - Products/Services Requested: - Preparation, delivery, and serving of noon meals (primarily sub sandwiches) for MEPS applicants - Meals include: three types of meat submarine sandwiches (ham, turkey, roast beef), vegetarian sandwiches, chips, cookies, fresh fruit (apple or banana), beverages (soft drinks, water, iced tea, milk), and individual condiment packets - Meals must be prepared in a state/local licensed facility and served on-site, with cleaning and waste removal included - Administrative support for meal vouchers required - Quantities and Period of Performance: - Estimated 48 meals per day, up to 120 maximum on peak days - Approximately 264 service days per year (Monday–Friday, up to 28 Saturdays annually) - Guaranteed minimum of 12,607 meals per contract period (base and option year) - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with health, safety, and security standards - Evaluation based on health inspection reports and past performance - NAICS code 722310 (Food Service Contractors) - Option for contract extension up to two years total - No specific OEMs or branded products are required; commercial food service providers are eligible.
