NOTICE OF INTENT
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Vicksburg District (USACE-MVK), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to award a sole source purchase order to ABB, Inc. (CAGE Code 8TF40) for on-site troubleshooting/technical support for the DCS880-GF gantry crane drive systems aboard USACE-MVK’s Matboat 4801. Refer to the attached statement of work for complete requirement details.
This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), and no solicitation is available for this procurement. Nevertheless, any firm or individual that believes it is capable of meeting the Vicksburg District’s requirements described herein may submit a capabilities statement, which, if received by 1:00 PM CST on 29 June 2026, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be submitted via e-mail, no phone calls will be accepted. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
