Solicitation SPE1C1-26-R-0059 to acquire the Vest, Airsave CMU-33P & CMU-36P (Legacy AIRSAVE) was solicited March 2, 2026, and closed March 17, 2026. The aquisition was awarded  April 21, 2026 as a C2 fixed quantity buy under the authority of permitting other than full and open competition 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(2), as implemented by FAR Overhaul Part 6.103-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency (Formerly FAR Part 6.302-2).
