Description
This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside RFQ for the procurement, installation, and electrical integration of two (2) 20’ x 20’ Cornell Iron Works Model ESD10 (or brand-name equivalent) interior coil weathered service doors at Building 2079, JBSA Lackland. The required door specifications include a 22-gauge galvanized steel curtain, standard gray factory finish, extruded mill-finish aluminum bottom bar with astragal, lintel brush seal, single-guide weathering, motor operation with photo-eye safety sensors, and a 20 PSF wind load rating. The contractor is responsible for installing a dedicated 120-Volt, 20-Amp circuit to each motor, setting and hardwiring a disconnect at each motor, piping conduit for the control switches and motion sensors, and pulling all necessary control wiring. Additionally, a comprehensive 3-year warranty on both parts and labor is required for this project.
Interested vendors shall respond to this Solicitation IAW the attached documents and instructions to offerors.
Site Visit will be held at 09:00 am CDT on Monday 13 July 2026, at 1875 Arizona St, Lackland Air Force Base, TX 78236.
JBSA-Lackland requires a valid Base Pass and Identification to enter. Anyone who does not have the necessary identification to enter the base must send an email (NLT 10 days prior to site visit) to both CS and CO (see POC above) requesting DoD SAFE Drop to submit an Unescorted Access Request(UAR JBSA LAK ) (Attachment 2). It is your responsibility to confirm that the base access request has been received by 502 CONS. For additional information, please contact the CS and CO.
