Broward County's FASD - Purchasing department is seeking information on the availability of Dibrom® Concentrate Insecticide or equivalent products for aerial mosquito control: - Government Buyer: - FASD - Purchasing, Broward County - OEM Highlight: - AMVAC Chemical Corporation is currently designated as the sole source for Dibrom® Concentrate Insecticide - Products/Services Requested: - Dibrom® Concentrate Insecticide - Organophosphate-based adulticide for aerial Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) application - Used to control adult mosquito populations - Must be approved by the EPA and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) - Aerial spraying services for wide-area mosquito control - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Product must be EPA and FDACS approved for aerial mosquito control - The County is open to information on comparable products or services that meet these regulatory and performance standards - The RFI is to determine if a sole source designation is appropriate or if competition exists - Vendors are invited to submit information demonstrating their ability to supply Dibrom® Concentrate or equivalent products/services

Description

This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to determine if the specified commodity or service, an organophosphate-based adulticide for aerial Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) application to control adult mosquito populations, is available from multiple providers or if an alternate commodity or service meets the County's needs.
