Description

The City of Wheat Ridge is seeking statements of interest for the redevelopment and/or reuse of two vacant public elementary school properties: Kullerstrand Elementary School and Wilmore Davis Elementary School. These schools, owned by Jefferson County Public Schools, were closed in May 2023. The city currently uses parts of each property for parks and recreation and wishes to maintain this use long-term but cannot utilize or repurpose the entire properties or buildings. The city seeks a partner to redevelop or reuse the school buildings and will collaborate with the selected respondent(s) to present a reuse proposal to Jefferson County Public Schools.
