Description
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors, including municipalities, to deploy, operate, and maintain public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. This effort is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Highway Administration National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program. The project aims to expand public EV charging capacity along designated alternative fuel corridors and in areas with high multifamily housing or lacking private overnight charging. Charging stations will include Level 2 and/or DC fast charging at accessible locations such as public buildings, schools, parks, or private sites serving the community.
