Description
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is preparing an environmental document to assess the impacts of the Critical Energy Reliability Link Project proposed by Rockies Express Pipeline LLC, Cheyenne Connector, LLC, and East Cheyenne Gas Storage, LLC. The project involves construction and operation of approximately 160 miles of 24-inch-diameter natural gas pipelines, a 6,200-horsepower compressor station, and other related facilities in Weld, Adams, Arapahoe, Elbert, and El Paso counties, Colorado. Amendments to the project include additional pipeline segments and modifications to facilities, increasing construction land requirements. The Commission is requesting public comments on environmental issues to focus the analysis in the environmental document.
