Description

The Coast Guard is proposing to establish a temporary safety zone on the Ohio River from mile marker 457.5 to 456.5 in Cincinnati, Ohio. This safety zone is intended to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards associated with an over water fireworks display scheduled for September 28, 2026. The safety zone will be enforced from 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on that date, prohibiting unauthorized persons and vessels from entering the area. The rule allows for vessels to request permission to enter the safety zone from the Captain of the Port or their designated representative.
