Description

The City of Coachella is seeking pre-qualified Design/Build/Operate entities for the Community Resilience Center project. The project involves the design, remodel, and rehabilitation of an approximately 17,800 square foot one-story building on a 2.09 acre lot to serve multiple community functions including emergency operations, shelter, cooling center, commercial kitchen, office and commercial space, non-profit operations, business incubator, classrooms, demonstration gardens, and community events. The selected team will be responsible for all aspects of design, permitting, construction, and will operate the facility for a minimum of two years post-completion. Pre-qualification is mandatory prior to proposal submission, and joint ventures must have each entity separately qualified.
