Description

Sandy City is soliciting bids to supply 3/8-inch Bituminous Concrete Paving Material from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. The pavement mix design must meet the current APWA specifications set forth in 32 12 05 Bituminous Concrete and other referenced sections. The city will provide its own delivery transportation for the asphalt material, which must be available for loading at the vendor's facility during asphalt producing months. An estimated 8,500 tons will be needed, and the project may be awarded to multiple vendors based on travel time, plant delays, and material availability. The material must meet specific gradation and performance grade requirements, with a maximum of 15% recycled asphalt pavement allowed.
