Description
This solicitation is for the preparation of construction contract plans to upgrade and expand the City of Lima's coordinated traffic signal system at approximately 34 signalized intersections. The project aims to implement a radio-based interconnect system to enable communication between local controllers and the advanced traffic management system, TACTICS. It also includes expanding network coverage along signalized corridors, updating coordinated signal timing, and upgrading pedestrian facilities to PROWAG-compatible equipment. The design will cover intersections within phases 1-3 of the Radio Interconnect Feasibility study dated May 8th, 2026, as a single construction contract plan set. Construction funding has not been committed, and phased construction may be necessary based on available funding.
