Procurement of Labconco-equivalent fume extraction hoods, installation, maintenance, and training for U.S. Embassy Guatemala City

The U.S. Embassy Guatemala City, under the Department of State, is seeking procurement of laboratory fume extraction hoods and related services. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, American Embassy Guatemala City, GSO - Procurement Section - OEMs and Vendors: - Labconco (Protector Premier equivalent specified) - Products/Services Requested: - 2 fume extraction hoods (Labconco Protector Premier equivalent, part number 100600002) - Includes safety storage base cabinets, spill stopper work surfaces, and PVC blowers - Installation of equipment at delivery - Two years of maintenance (two preventive services per year plus corrective maintenance) - On-site, in-person training for 10 end users (minimum four hours, in Spanish, with materials/manuals) - Delivery to Miami warehouse and final delivery to Guatemala City - Defense Base Act insurance and general liability insurance - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Equipment must be new, manufactured within the past twelve months - Manuals and training materials must be provided in both Spanish and English - Valid calibration certificate from manufacturer or accredited laboratory required - Compliance documentation for all accessories, consumables, and components must be provided prior to shipment - Delivery and installation required within 60 days of award; no partial deliveries allowed

Description

The Contractor shall provide to the U.S. Government new fume extraction hoods and accessories, not previously used, in strict compliance with the specifications at the agreed upon firm fixed price. Vendor shall install the equipment, provide maintenance services and train end users. In the event of noncompliance with the specifications, the U.S. Government reserves the right to demand collection(s) or reject this requirement in its entirety.

If brand name is not used, technical specification sheets are required to be submitted prior to equipment approval and acceptance. 

Technical Requirements: • The equipment MUST be clean, new, and not previously used, and MUST be delivered in optimal operating condition and quality. • All manuals MUST be provided in both Spanish and English. • All equipment shall have a manufacture date not older than twelve (12) months at the time of delivery. • The Contractor MUST provide a valid calibration certificate issued by the manufacturer or an accredited calibration laboratory. • The Contractor MUST verify and document compliance of all accessories, consumables, and components with the required specifications prior to shipment. • The Contractor shall furnish and install all materials required by this contract.
