Description
The MTA/Long Island Rail Road Company (LIRR) is soliciting bids for the operation and maintenance of the Hillside Maintenance Facility (HMF) and Arch Street Facility Industrial Wastewater Pretreatment Facilities (IWPF). The contractor will be responsible for operating and maintaining the facilities, furnishing skilled personnel, performing maintenance and repairs on equipment, pumps, piping, valves, controls, switches, calibration of instruments and meters, record keeping, monitoring, sampling, laboratory analysis, and general housekeeping. All work must conform to specifications and meet system design parameters and effluent limitations as per the NYC Sewer Discharge Permit. The contract term is three years with two one-year option periods, and the estimated contract value ranges from $1 million to $5 million.
