This opportunity involves the procurement and installation of sunshade structures for CCA aircraft at Creech Air Force Base by the U.S. Air Force, 432nd Wing. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 432nd Wing, Creech Air Force Base - Scope of Work: - Design, purchase, and installation of four (4) new CCA sunshade structures, each with four aircraft parking bays - Relocation of four existing sunshade structures - Demolition of one existing sunshade - Construction includes column concrete footings, gabled standing seam metal roof (SSMR) system, and all required structural elements - Installation of electrical components: 100 amp 208Y120 three phase service panel (NEMA 4 enclosure), 120v powered LED lighting for each bay, service power outlets, EMT conduit wiring, and hardwired 120v obstruction light with battery backup - Photovoltaic array or solar paneling with 12-hour battery pack for LED lighting - Service panel with Una-strut support assembly and solar battery powered obstruction light - Services Required: - Full design and engineering services, including construction drawings, structural calculations, and FAA coordination - Construction and installation services, including site surveying, field verification, and compliance with safety/security requirements - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All new structures must meet seismic, wind load, and roofing specifications - Roofing must use factory-fabricated galvanized steel panels, 22 gauge minimum, with rust-resistant paint matching Frazee Paint #213 Travatan or government-approved equal - LED lighting and obstruction lights must be powered by solar battery backup for at least 12 hours - Compliance with FAA Form 7460-1 and government approval milestones - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments

Description

The Experimental Operations Unit (EOU) at Creech AFB requires the purchase and installation of four shade structures for the CCA aircraft based on site.  Also, the relocation of the four existing structures and demolition of the 5th sunshade.  Four current sunshades will be turned perpendicular and align with the new sunshades.  The contractor shall design, provide, and construct the following shade structures on the airfield's parking apron:  1) Four CCA shade structures that include four aircraft parking bays each.  The new shade structures will be located on south ramp west of the current shade structures.  2)  Column concrete footings, per footing, as needed.  3) The new shade structures will adhere to the following requirements: The shade structure will require LED lights and their conduit, CU wiring, service power outlets, a service panel and its Una-strut support assembly, and a solar battery powered obstruction light.  4) PVA (Photovoltaic Array) or solar paneling with 12 hour battery pack for LED lighting and shade structure.
