The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin Region, Albuquerque Area Office, is seeking qualified small businesses to supply, haul, and stockpile riprap for river maintenance and emergency protection along the Middle Rio Grande. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin Region, Albuquerque Area Office - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to qualified small businesses capable of supplying riprap - Products/Services Requested: - Supply and delivery of a total of 9,680 tons of riprap in specified sizes: - 3,300 tons of 12-inch nominal diameter riprap to Bernalillo stockpile site - 5,500 tons of 16-24 inch diameter riprap to HWY 380 stockpile site - 880 tons of 16-24 inch diameter riprap to RM 201.8 site (delivery conditional on approval) - Dust abatement services during hauling and stockpiling - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with safety, traffic control, and environmental permits - Delivery to RM 201.8 site is subject to Contracting Officer Representative (COR) approval - Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - All work must be completed by the specified contract end date

The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin, is conducting market research to identify qualified small businesses capable of fulfilling the Middle Rio Grande (MRG) Riprap Stockpile Supply requirement. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information-gathering and planning purposes and is not a solicitation for quotes or proposals.The requirement consists of furnishing, hauling, and stockpiling various sizes of riprap at designated locations to support river‑maintenance activities and emergency protection of riverside structures. Full details—including project objectives, scope, technical specifications, and stockpile site information—are provided in the attached Statement of Work (Draft SOW - MRG Riprap Stockpile 2026).
