Description

Base project work involves maintenance dredging of the Kings Bay Entrance Channel Cut-1N through Range-E. The excavated material will be distributed among the Fernandina Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS)(D/A-O), the Fernandina Nearshore Placement Area (P/A-N), the Fort Clinch Placement Area (P/A-F), and the North Beach Placement Area (P/A-NB). Incidental work includes environmental and water quality monitoring, vibration monitoring, beach fill quality control, beach tilling, and sea turtle and sturgeon trawling, and interim demobilization and mobilization (cutter-suction dredges only).
